CreateAthon 2025: 19 Years of Creating for Good

Our CreateAthon 2025 process is officially underway. The event will be happening October 23–24!

For those new to it, CreateAthon is an annual marathon of creativity, where we rally as designers, writers, strategists, makers, dreamers, and humans to donate our time in support of inspiring nonprofit organizations. In just 24 hours, teams work side-by-side to bring bold ideas to life—everything from fresh branding to campaigns that help nonprofits amplify their impact.

This year, we’re excited to be hosted overnight by our friends and partners at Gear7, who are opening their doors (and studio space) to keep the creative energy flowing for the third year in a row.

• Applications for Middle TN-based nonprofits have been sent out and are now closed.
• Our team is currently reviewing entries, and finalists will be selected and notified by October 1.
• We’ll share our partners’ missions and stories so that you can support their impact and follow along on their creative evolutions.

How You Can Get Involved

There are plenty of ways to join in the fun and make a difference:

• Freelancers: Lend your skills during the event! We’re always looking for creative pros ready to jump into the action.
• Businesses: Keep the team fueled! Sponsorship opportunities include providing meals, snacks, or even surprise-and-delight moments for our participants.
• Individuals: Follow along, cheer us on, and show some love to the nonprofit partners we’ll be serving.
